Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026): Enero-Abril 2026
We present the first issue of the second volume of INNOVACADEMIA, which brings together research studies and reflections addressing current educational challenges from pedagogical, technological, and humanistic perspectives. This issue includes an article presenting a systematic review on inclusive education, identifying policies and strategies aimed at guaranteeing the right to education, as well as the main limitations observed in their implementation. It also features an autoethnographic essay that examines the use of generative artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, in higher education, highlighting the transformation of teaching practices and the ethical implications associated with its use. In addition, this issue includes a review of the novel Speak, which invites to reflect on the role of teachers and parents in responding to experiences of trauma during adolescence. The final section presents several research articles: one addresses artificial intelligence in basic education, analyzing teachers’ perceptions as well as the benefits and challenges of its incorporation into educational practices; the other article focuses on preschool education and examines the strengthening of inhibitory control through executive function programs, based on teachers’ perceptions. With these contributions, INNOVACADEMIA reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of dialogue among those of us who are part of the academic community.
